About CookingMadeEasy

Who writes here

My name is Kkuma Park. I’m an independent writer and developer based in Seoul, South Korea. I’ve spent more than a decade in IT, built a handful of small software products, and along the way accumulated a list of personal experiments, mistakes, and hard-won notes that turned into this blog.

I’m not a chef — I’m a lazy weekday cook who hates washing dishes. Every recipe on this site has been made in my small Seoul apartment kitchen at least five times, usually after 10pm, with the ingredients I could find at my local market.

What CookingMadeEasy is for

CookingMadeEasy is my working notebook on cooking. Every article here exists because I needed the answer myself at some point and couldn’t find a version I trusted.

I try to follow three rules on this site:

  1. Write from experience, not summary. If I haven’t actually done it, I won’t pretend I have.
  2. Show the numbers. Where real data, tests, or costs are useful, I include them.
  3. Update when I’m wrong. If I learn that an earlier post was inaccurate, I fix the post and add a note.
